Erasmus Programme

The Erasmus programme (under the Life-long Learning Programme) promotes training placements for students in companies or organisations in other EU countries. The programme aims to help participants adapt to the demands of the EU employment market, gain specific and transversal skills whilst improving  their understanding of the economic and social environment of the hosting country. The work placement may also involve a preparatory or a refresher course in the work language used at the host organisation. Host organisations for student work placements may be companies, training centres, research centres and other organisations.
